Nihon-Buyo is a combination of music, Edo literature, elegant movement, and other fruitful elements that lead to richness in heart. Yet, for those who still have hesitation about learning Nihon-Buyo, you are welcome to visit our dance studio or to come to our trial class.

June Japanese Dance Class (Starting from June 8)
Classes for adults
<5 lessons・once a week > You can take any classes during the period
Tuition fee: HK$1000 <5 lessons> (normally 4 lessons)
Please prepare: yukata, tabi socks
If you don't have these, a set can be rented to you ($200) or you have a choice to buy a set.
Place: Kowloon Jordan Studio / Enrollment: starting from 3 students
It's possible to open up a new class on your request. Please ask us.
Q: Is it suitable for beginner who has no experience?
A: For most beginners, they start learning simple & basic steps through short dance. At the beginning, it’s difficult to coordinate between music and movements but the body and muscles will remember all steps naturally by the time you complete the dance. Please come and experience it.
Q: What do I need to prepare for the lesson?
A: You will need:
1 pc of Yukata (summer Kimono), those one made of cotton.
1 pc of Obi (belt for Yukata)
1 pair of Tabi (Japanese style dance socks)
1 pc of fan
If you don’t have any of the above, you can rent or order from us.
Q: I don’t know how to wear Kimono.
A: We will teach you how to wear Yukata (summer Kimono) in the beginning, then, you will be able to wear it yourself.
Q: How often and how long is the lesson?
A: The lesson runs once a week, usually 50-60min for group lesson and 30-40min for private lesson.
Q: How much does Japanese dance lesson costs?
A: It depends on level & type of lesson, so please contact us for details.
Q: What if I can’t make it for my lesson due to my busy working schedule?
A: We are quite flexible so you can change your lesson to the date most suitable to your schedule. Please discuss it with us.
